Another hard-to-get country is finally in my collection! Nauru is the world's smallest republic with less than 10,000 residents. On the postcard you can see the port where phosphate is loaded onto international ships. Nauru is a phosphate rock island and it was once the major exporter of the mineral. Sadly, the deposits ran out in the 1980s.
In spite of the cancellation the postcard has nothing to do with the Nauru Philatelic Bureau.
