Situated in the middle of the Atlantic and having no airport, Saint Helena is one of the most difficult places to get a letter from. Fortunately, a friend of mine lives there and he sent me the postcard above. In the front you can see the sights of the island, while in the back there are two important cancellations: One of them (on the stamp of Prince Philip) shows that the letter was sent from Jamestown, and the other in the bottom left corner shows that then it was posted at sea and came all the way on board the R.M.S. St. Helena. A million+1 thanks to Adam for this rarity!
