"In the morning light" the postcard description reads... The postcard came from Bamako, the capital city of Mali. It is a landlocked country in Western Africa and although it's a very poor country it abounds in gold and uranium, which automatically raises the question: if a country has supplies of such strategic resources, why are the people so poor that half of them live below the international poverty line...?
Interestingly, Mali launched its first Fashion Week this year and it'll take place in Bamako from 12-18 December, 2011. Should you be interested in fashion then, it's Mali where you should go! But if you're there, don't forget to send me another nice postcard! :)
