This amazing postcard came from the extreme north, from Kimmirut, a settlement with about 400 residents only. It is located in the Nunavut Territory in Canada and as Hanna writes a "nanuq" (polar bear) was spotted a few miles away from Kimmirut that week. Interesting language is this Inuktitut... their word for the polar bear is ᓇᓄᖅ. I guess there are a lot more expressions for the polar bear but this is the most common.
