This curious postcard was sent from Niue, or the Rock of Polynesia. It was posted in Alofi, the capital of the country of less than 1400 citizens. Thanks to Bill for this rarity!

#200 country - North Korea

I proudly announce that the North Korean postcard that I've just uploaded is the 200th country in my collection. It is almost unbelievable and I'm really thankful for all the help I've got during these three months. I'm also grateful to the readers of my blog for their attention and valuable advice. There are still a lot of countries ahead, but postcards keep coming and I can't really find the words to say: thank you all!

I didn't really believe my eyes at first when I looked at this postcard. It came all the way from Pyongyang, the capital city of North Korea! Not only the stamp is great (showing the North Korean flag) but the cancellation is just excellent! Thanks to the North Korean Post and to Simon, who arranged everything!

I had been looking forward to this postcard for quite a while when it finally arrived. It is from the Faroe Islands and was posted in its capital, Tórshavn. The postcard shows the main attractions of the country and on the back there are two 2011 stamps featuring cats and a great cancellation.
