This letter is another precious stone of postal history. It was sent from Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh on 20th May, 2011 as it is clearly legible on the blue cancellation. Why is this interesting? Because the country is NOT a UPU member and the letter was still accepted in spite of the fact that the stamps are both from the "Republic of Mountainous Karabakh". Anyway, the stamps are also nice featuring a lynx, which is one of my favourite wildcats. Amazing piece, isn't it?
